Thank you for this hint. Since all MLD developers are Germans, we test most time with german setup and so do not notice such mistakes.
So please inform us about all missing english translations you will found or wrong spellings.

I have update the Standby section locales. The Miscellaneous is in progress.
But the Commands section is not translatebil at the moment. Ther must be made a bigger change for this. I will do this later (in a view weeks). |

Hi. An update... MLD v5.x shows some German text in menus when the system language is set to English. Please make translations in English. This can be done with program logic or by adding to the text strings. Here are examples of some possible translations. Thanks.

Hi. If you are not yet able to make program logic, please consider doing bilingual text strings. You can design short abbreviated strings for both languages. See this example. Thanks!

In a first step I have now change the texts to english.
Later I will add other translations.
Solution idee:
Die menu.xml könnte als menu.sh gespeichert werden die dann gt Aufrufe enthält und bei jedem VDR Start in die xml umgewandelt wird.
Zu bedenken ist auch, wie eine Erweiterung der Datei durch andere Pakete behandelt werden soll. eventuell wäre ja auch ein menu.xml.d Ordner so wie beim setup der richtige Weg. |

hi, also, some people customize the menu.xml with more commands. whatever you do for language translation, please make sure to provide easy way to make and keep customizations. thanks.

Hi. Also, in regards to MLD shows some German text in menus when the system language is set to English. In the MLD on screen Packages menu, the descriptions of packages and plugins are only in German. Maybe you can figure out how to also have those in English. It is in some ways an international language. This is just a suggestion. When you have time and interest. Thanks. |
