Konfiguration - Snapshots
Mit einem Snapshot wird der momentane Stand deiner Installation vom System gesichert und in einen geschützten Bereich geschrieben. Mit diesem Snapshot kannst du immer wieder auf den Stand zurückkehren.
Create:
Hierüber kannst du einen neuen Snapshot erstellen lassen. Das aktuelle Datum wird automatisch vor den von dir vergebenen Namen hinzugefügt.
Restore:
Es wird dir eine Liste der bestehenden Snapshots angezeigt. Daraus kannst du den Snapshot auswählen, auf den du zurückkehren möchtest. Snapshots mit dem Namen “auto snapshot …” wurden vom System selbstständig angelegt. Dies passiert immer vor der Installation von Updates, wenn das nachstehende Feld “Create on Update” aktiviert ist.
Delete:
Enthält eine Liste der bestehenden Snapshots. Der ausgewählte Snapshot wird durch Betätigen des Speichern-Buttons unwiderruflich gelöscht.
Create on update:
Darüber steuerst du, ob automatisch ein Snapshot angelegt wird, wenn Updates installiert werden
Speichern
Die ausgewählte Aktion wird durchgeführt.
Reboot
Startet das System neu. Sinnvoll, wenn über Restore ein Snapshot zurückgespielt wurde.
