Ist schon wirklich komisch:

Hab's gemacht wie befohlen.
Custom Iso gezogen, installiert, dann per ssh lsmod:

Und natürlich, dazwischen jedesmal gespeichert und den VDR neu gestartet...

hat sich also offensichtlich nix getan.
Gebe ich dann per ssh modprobe ivtvfb nochmal an, bleibt erstmal hängen, dann kommt:

das ist ja zumindest schon mal ein Hinweis auf irgendwas...

Ja, damit sollte Christian was anfangen können ;)

@Frounts,
ich denke schon, dass das helfen würde. Ich wäre dafür die Christian zuzusenden, mal vorausgesetzt das er sich des Problems annehmen mag. Versprechen können wir natürlich nicht, das in den Griff zu bekommen, nur würde die Karte die Fehlersuche doch deutlich vereinfachen.

ok, ein wenig anders. Trage im Webif unter DVB-Treiber nichts ein und boote neu. Dann noch mal das ganze (nur das erste modprobe -r ivtv kannste weglassen).

ne d.h. du SOLLST NUR ivtvfb eintragen und das sollte ivtv laden -> kannst es ja mal probieren zumindest sieht es ja nun jetzt so aus als würde ivtvfb geladen werden! in lsmod ist es dirn komischerweise auch schon nach stop vdr -> was mich verwundert

Sieht doch eigentlich nicht schlecht aus.

Wenn du nachdem der ivtvfb Treiber geladen ist mal den VDR startest "start vdr" und vorher das Log auf 3 stellst und die Messages noch einmal postest können wir mehr sagen.

Ich zitiere noch einmal das Wiki:

Framebuffer-Device
ivtv generiert ein Framebuffer-Device für das Ausgabe-Gerät. Dieses kann z.B. in /etc/modules geladen werden (erst "ivtv", dann "ivtvfb". In älteren Treiberversionen heißt das Modul ivtv-fb). Dabei werden aber die lokalen Konsolen automatisch auf dieses Device gelegt, sofern es das erste und einzige ist. Dies kann verhindert werden, indem dem Bootloader folgende Zeile mitgegeben wird, z.B. in der /etc/lilo.conf der "append"-Eintrag: "video=vc:64-64 video=map:0" (danach wie immer bei

das streamdev-client Addon darfst Du ruhig hinzu packen. Das stört nicht.
Nach dem Start des VDRs soll das OSD zu sehen sein, auch wenn kein TV Sender angezeigt werden kann.

... mit log level 3 intressiert dann eher /var/log/messages und /var/log/sysinit

desweiteren solltest du wenn lsmod nichts anzeigt machen:

modprobe ivtvfb
lsmod -> schauen ob ivtvfb drin ist und ivtv auch (sieht ja so aus)
dann start vdr
-> geht der vdr? ja nein vllt?

so oder so die logs von oben nun anhängen
