When I use the scan feature in setup, if it does not tune the first transponder it fails, can it be set to try ALL transponders without failing or start with a different one? and can the transponder file be updated  ? I searched and could not find, where is it located?
 LNB settings? or does it use settings from diseqc?

Hi,

we use the w_scan tool for scanning the channellist. If I understand it right, all scanning information is hard coded inside the tool. there is no config file.
If you need more control over the scan, you can use it at commandline and store the generated channellist at /etc/vdr/channels/... and then select your list by setup.
