MLD 5.3 Medienwiedergabe
« on: February 25, 2017, 05:20:08 »
Hallo,

libdvdnav: Using dvdnav version 5.0.3
libdvdread: Could not open /data/video/Gandhi.iso with libdvdcss.
libdvdread: Can't open /data/video/Gandhi.iso for reading
libdvdnav: vm: failed to open/read the DVD

MLD 5.3 Medienwiedergabe
« Reply #3 on: February 25, 2017, 17:46:52 »
Hallo nochmal,

Code: [Select]

[3188] [input_vdr]    (ERROR (xine_input_vdr.c,2565): No such file or directory

I think this is compatibility issue between xine-lib and recent
libdvdcss versions. It was fixed in xine-lib couple of months ago. The
fix is in xine-lib 1.2.8, but not in 1.2.7 (I think).

You seem to be using 1.2.7, upgrading to xine-lib 1.2.8 should fix the
issue. (Well, I don't know what ~1 at the end of version means - maybe
there are some fixes/changes after 1.2.7 ?).

If the disc is not encrypted, removing libdvdcss could fix the issue
too.

Some people "fixed" this by changing the setting "media.dvd.raw_device"
in ~/.xine/config_xineliboutput to point to the DVD drive. But I don't
know if it helps with .iso files.
    ************************

ii  libxine2-bin    1.2.7-~1    amd64    Xine video/media player library, binary files

Code: [Select]
rm /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdvdcss.so.2.2.0

Vielen Dank an alle !
