Yeah, Sound settings has pass through option if i use xineliboutput however that option is removed if i use softhddevice.

I also have a problem regarding a Logitech USB audio hub that doesn't work with softhddevice.

PT is an feature of the frontend. SHD is also able to PT the sound. But you need to setup ONE output device (as far as I know).
The other thing: is it something like an external sound card with speakers in it? why else should someone use USB for speakers?
-> maybe this is to special (no kernel drivers) for MLD. We cannot support every single hardware.

best regards

Hi MarMic,
I can't find any PT option if i use SHD even if i setup one output device.

The USB audio hub got speakers inside it and also a subwoofer, it doesn't need any special driver because it works fine under Ubuntu.

It also work(partially) if i used PT with xineliboutput.

However, it doesn't work at all with SHD because there is no PT option.

Best regards

Thank you for replying, i'm talking about webif sound options.
Please check the attachments.
SHD doesn't have pass through USB as xineliboutput
I had done that through setup already but the USB audio hub still doesn't work with SHD.

Why is IT once 1 0 USB and once 0 0 USB.

Try IT with 1 0 and shd Plugin Options - Don t forget to restart vdr

For the Syntax but IT IS hard to write english on a German Android phone

Only xineliboutput Plugn need to setup PT by Webif setup. If you use softhddevice you must setup it in the VDR OSD like you already do.
But I think MarMics comment is more important. You have select different output devices for xineliboutput and softhddevice.

I'm sorry for the confusion i caused. the right setting for the Logitech USB audio hub that worked with xineliboutput is 0 0 USB Audio.
1 0 USB was for a USB headset.

I tried everything as you guys suggested but it works with xineliboutput with PT USB option.
(Although it's partially suppoprted as i wrote earlier)

The audio hub volume control doesn't work so i had to change volume using keyboard.

However, it doesn't work at all using SHD.  :(

If you use softhddevice you must setup it in the VDR OSD like you already do.

Softhddevice setup doesn't have PT USB.
There are:
- PCM
- AC-3
- E-AC-3

That's options for the sound codec inside the videos, and not for the divice.
With PT you can not controle the volume by the VDR. For this you must use the volume control of the soundbar (I hope I remember right).

I have no problem to change volume using keyboard with xineliboutput but the audio hub doesn't work at all using SHD, (no sound comes out of the speakers or the subwoofer)
That's the problem.

I unplugged it already to focus on the USB audio hub problem.
