Hallo,
wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, ist das Hyperion-Paket nur für den RPi gedacht. Der integrierte Grabber arbeitet nur mit RPi zusammen!??
Ich möchte das Paket aber auf dem MLD nutzen zusammen mit einem SEDU-Controller (den habe ich schon mit dfatmo/Boblight erfolgreich im Einsatz gehabt)
Soweit bin ich jetzt schon:
-Hyperion-Paket läuft auf MLD, SEDU_Controller wird erkannt , LED können über HyperCon angesprochen werden (SSH-Farbrad funktioniert, auch über die App)
-Kurztest mit XBMC war auch erfolgreich
-interner Grabber ist angehakt, läuft aber nicht

Jetzt komme ich hier nicht weiter. Kann man den Grabber aus boblight nutzen ?

Hyperion sollte nach der Doku Doku von Hyperion auch auf x86 und x64 Systemen und dem Sedu-Controller funktionieren.

Aus den "Introduction" schließe ich, dass Hyperion einen Boblight Server zur Verfügung stellen kann.

Gibt es bei dir denn das unter Grabber eingetragene Device /dev/video0? => s. Anleitung. Wenn ich es richtig in Erinnerung habe, dann musste das beim RPi noch in der Kernel-Konfiguration aktiviert werden, damit das Gerät vorhanden ist. Vielleicht ist das ja bei den PCs ähnlich.

Jedenfalls sollte das Boblight VDR Plugin zusammen mit dem hyperion Paket funktionieren. Ob da alles nötige bereits enthalten ist, weiß ich aber nicht.

ich komme leider heute erst wieder zum Testen.
Zuerst habe ich hyperion 2018.03.02-9.13+4.14.19.199.73 installiert.
Wenn ich jetzt das boblight-plugin dazu nehme wird ein Neustart fällig.
Da kommt im log:

Ich hab da noch nicht so ganz den Durchblick, wie das Zusammenspiel eigentlich funktionieren soll...
Boblight und hyperion können nicht gleichzeitig installiert sein. Wies ausschaut, wird aber wohl die libboblight.so.0 aus dem boblightPaket benötigt.
Du kannst jetzt mal folgendes versuchen:
- das boblight Paket installieren
- die Dateien libboblight.so sichern: "cp /usr/lib/libboblight.so* /root"
- das hyperion Paket installieren
- die libboblight.so Dateien zurück kopieren: "cp /root/libboblight.so* /usr/lib"
- das Paket vdr-lugin-boblight installieren
- den VDR neu starten
Jetzt kann das boblight Plugin die benötigte libboblight.so.0 Datei finden. Ob's hilft weiß ich aber nicht. Eventuell muss das hyperion auch noch so konfiguriert werden, das es einen boblight Dienst bereitstellt.

Boblight sollte auf Port 19333 die infos für hyperion zur verfügung stellen , wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe.

Ja, das habe ich ja auch geschrieben. Die können nicht gleichzeitig installiert sein.
Deshalb, und weil das Plugin die boblight Lib benötigt, sollst Du ja auch erst boblight installieren, dann die lib sichern, dann auf hyperion wechseln und die lib dann zurück spielen. Schau noch mal meine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung an.
Danach ist zumindest der Fehler mit der fehlenden libboblight beseitigt.

genauer gesagt sollte das Device /dev/video0 heißen.

@Claus: Zumindest beim RPi hat Hyperion bei mir auch nicht funktioniert, solange das Device nicht vorhanden war. Hier bitte mal in der Kernal-Config schauen, ob man das irgendwie aktivieren kann. Wenn ich mich noch richtig erinnere, dann hatte wir das auch beim RPi nachgezogen.

Ich vermute aber, dass das /dev/video0 Device nur beim RPI benötigt wird, nicht aber beim PC. Und dann braucht man beim RPI auch kein boblight Plugin. Beim PC braucht man das Plugin nur, weil's kein /dev/video0 Device gibt.
Oder liege ich da völlig daneben?
