xine-lib 1.2.9 was released on 2018-01-11

I compiled it from source on my pc.

Anyway, can you run Softhddevice from command line?
Because i'm getting this error

Maybe it's related to nvidia legacy driver?
I had tried MLD 5.4 stable, i don't see such error either.
Softhddevice works fine but when i click Ctrl - Alt - F1 in order to run some command then when i go back to F7
i see no video only sound works.
In order to make video work i have to execute runvdr -r
Did you experience that issue?

I use the nvidia.legacy driver.
The stable version use an older kernel version with an older nvidia driver.

Hallo Claus,

ich kann das von gr4vity beschriebene Verhalten bestätigen. Das ist auch schon ziemlich lange so, war mir nur entfallen, weil am VDR normalerweise keine Tastatur angeschlossen ist und Zugriffe auf die Konsole von einem anderen Rechner per ssh erfolgen.
Schließe ich doch mal eine Tastatur an und schalte auf eine Konsole, dann muss ich von dort den vdr neu starten und ganz schnell auf F7 umschalten.

Bei mir läuft aktuell testing, allerdings mit dem Kernel (nebst abhängigen Paketen) aus unstable, weil ich den legacy-Treiber benötige.

Funktioniert denn der nvidia.legacy Treiber nicht unter testing? Bzw. dann dürfte der neuste unstable auch nicht mehr gehen...

nvidia.legacy @ testing: Zufällig gerade im Einsatz mit einem Dell D830 und Quadro 140M (GeForce 8400M GT)
Heute vormittag installiert, jetzt update gemacht. Läuft, keine Probleme

Danke für den Hinweis! Bei meinem letzten Test, vor ca.3 Wochen, ging es nicht. Das Bild blieb schwarz, die Fehlermeldungen waren die bekannten.
Werde morgen mal umstellen und mich dann melden.

Do you have dual monitors?
Or
You tried to alter nvidia settings?
Because i suspect that black screen when switching between Ctrl - Alt - F1/F7 is related to nvidia settings when using dual monitors.

Bdw, Claus you tried to build dvb-mb-vtuner package for kernel  5.3.11?

Neiter - nor.

The VDR is connected directly to the TV-Set by HDMI and it's the only monitor.

I cant't remember having changed the nvida-config ever. Not by using the tool, not by editing the config-file.
But is there a "button" anywhere to reset the config? It might be changed by other processes - or it's simply corrupted.

ich hatte einfach alle kernelbezogenen Pakete auf 4.20 gelassen und nur die anderen aus testing aktualisiert.

Aber jetzt läuft es wie gewohnt - vielen Dank!  8)

Leider gibt es aber ein Problem mit dem MediathekView-Plugin von Kodi. Doch dazu mache ich einen neuen Fred auf...

There is a reset button in nvidia-settings but i just read that your problem is solved so good for you  :)
I don't have such problem with xineliboutput plugin, it only occurs with softhhdevice.

I even can't configure mirror screen option, anyone has the same issue?

I have fix the xorg setup of the second and mirror screen. You can get it now in unstable and tomorrow in testing.

Please try to build vtuner for dvb-mb too because i made two threads for that.
In the 1st thread dvb works - vtuner works - skystar express doesn't work
In this thread dvb-mb works - skystar express works - vtuner doesn't work  :D

I had try to build vtuner for the dvb-mb package. It's enabled, but it would not be build.
