« on: December 02, 2019, 15:04:19 »

Hi,

This is a working file manager for MLD,
I'm still testing it as there is some features which doesn't work but it's better than nothing  ;)
App name is PCManFM QT.

You guys can post here any other file manager you are using.

Regards.

Hi Claus,

I installed gedit to use it with that file manager but i'm getting the following error
Code: [Select]
MLD> gedit

** (gedit:1910): WARNING **: Error retrieving accessibility bus address: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.a11y.Bus was not provided by any .service files

(gedit:1910): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.gedit.preferences.editor' is not installed

Any idea?

By the way, since you are offering kernel 5.3.14 what if i want to download xorg xorg-drivers etc for kernel 5.3.11
Is it possible or you delete old files?

Hi Roland,

Congratulations for your 1000 posts  :)

Yes, i want a windows filemanager, i'm already satisfied with pcmanfm-qt,
Only problem is installed applications menu is empty
Therefore, i want to install gedit to open text files.
I already installed nano which works fine.

Best regards.

I made some progress there, now applications menu is not empty anymore.  :)
Need to figure out why gedit isn't working.

gedit works .
Now i don't have to access MLD from another device.  :)

Then if you install adwaita-icon-theme it will look like that.

No. Unfortunately, I didn't because i thought you are interested in using mc only.

By the way, why i'm getting this message?

Code: [Select]
MLD> pcmanfm-qt
** Message: x-terminal-emulator has very limited support, consider choose another terminal

Are you using a modified xterm which differs from the original debian package?
Or that's a known issue with xterm?
