habe die 5.5 mal kurz angetestet und komme jetzt zu den nächsten Problemen (s. MLD 5.5: vdr-plugin-restfulapi mit Fehlern ).

Hallo zusammen,

teste gerade die 5.5 (aus Gründen ... MLD 5.4 auf HP MicroServer N36L bindet Kernel Driver pata_atiixp nicht ein ).

vdr-plugin-restfulapi wirft dauernd Fehler

Das "stable" ;) ansonsten teste halt ich die 5.5 - kein Problem.

Meinst du, das schafft's auch noch in die 5.4? So lange ist die ja noch nicht stable ...

Diese(r) MicroServer https://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/threads/hp-proliant-n36l-n40l-n54l-microserver.752079/ (36, 40 und 54 unterscheiden sich in der CPU)

Hier wird auch das BIOS-Mod mal beschrieben - damit ist

Hi baltic,

dieser Anschluss wird von HP als Internal SATA for ODD Option bezeichnet.
Es ist ein SATA-Anschluss, an dem auch die SATA-SSD hängt (welche bei unveränderter Konfiguration unter MLD 5.4 auch als Festplatte erkannt wird ;)).
Desweiteren sind auf dem Board übrigens noch ein MiniSAS SFF-8087 und ein eSATA Anschluss (letzterer hängt mit am Internal SATA for ODD).
Ansonsten gibt's keine IDE, SATA oder ähnliche Anschlüsse (okay - einen internen USB Port, aber ich möchte auch nicht wirklich von einem USB-Stick booten...).

Der Internal SATA ist bei ungepatchtem BIOS im SATA IDE Combined Mode.
Ich vermute, mit gepatchtem BIOS und deaktiviertnem Combined Mode wird der Anschluss auch als "normaler" SATA erkannt.
Ich möchte allerdings ungern nur dafür das BIOS patchen - immerhin erkennen  MLD 5.3 und auch Debian Bullseye 11 (testing) ohne Probleme diesen Anschluss und booten von der SSD.

Hallo zusammen,

bin zwar neu hier, benutze MLD aber seit Jahren (davor ua. gen2vdr und yaVDR).

Beim Updaten bzw. bei Neuinstallation von MLD 5.4 (und auch 5.5) wird am ersten "internen" SATA  die Bootplatte nicht gefunden.
Beim Vergleich von lspci -v fehlt die Zeile Kernel driver in use: pata_atiixp
