Hi Claus,

mit dem neuesten Update funktioniert das Backup - zumindest bei mir - noch nicht.

Der Link unter /data/backup nach /mnt/sda1/mld-backup zeigt ins Leere. Es gibt nur /mnt/sda1, darunter ist kein Verzeichnis mehr.

Wohin muss denn der Link zeigen?

Dort hätte Deine System Platte hin gemountet sein sollen...
Wohin Zeigt denn der Link /mnt/system, und was sagt nen "mount", wohin wurde die system Platte gemountet?
Welche Version der initramfs hast Du eingesätzt? Für das aktuelle backup-Addon musst Du die initramfs Version 293 nehmen.

auch das Backup funktioniert nach dem Update von heute  :applaus

nur der Vollständigkeit und in der Hoffnung, dass es so richtig ist:

Es war noch die initramfs_292. Eine aktuellere lag bei meinem Update gestern Abend gegen 17:30 Uhr nicht vor.

Hier funktioniert es leider nicht. Installation von gestern mit MLD-3.0.0_ff-hd-2011.11.08_30.iso. Update heute auf 293 initramfs und aktuelles backup 2.0_39. Siehe unten stehende Fehlermeldungen.

Das Fatale daran ist, dass das System danach hin ist. Offensichtlich werden reihenweise config Dateien gelöscht. Ich setze jetzt noch mal neu auf, mit der MLD-3.0.1_ff-hd-2011.11.09_31.

Hi,

ich möchte hier noch einmal die Diskussion in Schwung bringen, nachdem ich in den letzten Tagen ziemlich häufig die Backupfunktionalität benötigt habe und mir natürlich auch die Festplatte /mnt/sda1/ voll lief...

Wird es irgendwann noch angegangen, das das Backup nicht einzig auf der Partition bleibt? Es sollte doch entweder auf die Datapartition verschoben werden (können) oder halt via Webif downloadbar sein. Oder?

Als 2. möchte ich auch noch beim Restore eine Auffälligkeit ansprechen. Es gibt beim Restore auch noch das Verzeichnis /mnt/sda1/mld-old/. Wird das wirklich benötigt? Oder ist es nur als Fallback gedacht, falls der Restore nicht durchgeht? Auf jeden Fall belegt dieses Verzeichnis auch die Größe von einem "normalen" Backup. UNd bereits mit einem (wirklich nur einem) Backup ist bereits die Partition mit 75% sehr stark belegt. Ergebnis ist, das das ohne manuellen vorherigen Eingriff nicht wieder hergestellt werden kann.

Also, es wäre sicher für alle hilfreicher wenn die 2 Punkte angegangen und verändert werden. Oder?

Das hat nun aber nichts mit dem Backup zu tun!

Das hängt mit der Fenster Positionierung zusammen. Das sollte natürlich nicht für Dialogboxen greifen,...
Lösche mal in der /etc/rc.config die Zeile "APPLICATION_POS_bestätigen=". Dann ist der Fehler wieder weg.

Das liegt an dem Fenster Positionieren. Das reagiert fälschlicher weise auf Dialogboxen und legt für die ne positions Konfigurations Variable an.

Und wie bekomme ich die "überflüssigen" weg. Wo muß ich was löschen, oder? 2xTFT,XBMC,Firefox sonst nix weiter im Betrieb.Oder brauchen wir die alle??,Wozu?
Was mir noch aufgefallen ist: In der /etc/rc.config stht z.B:  INSTALL_SYSTEM_PARTITION_SIZE="1GB"  Ich hab aber def. mit 10GB installiert !? Wie das? Ist das default oder das was eingestellt wurde?

Die einstell Optionen kannst Du ignorieren. Ich werd aber mal zusehen das ich das Problem behebe.
Wieso die install Variable existiert weiß ich auch grad nicht. Stören tut das zwar nicht, wo's her kommt muss ich aber auch erst schauen.
