Hi,
USB sticks which are attached to MLD system aren't mounted automatically after boot.
It used to work fine but i think i done something which caused that problem.
I used to see that message in the log

Code: [Select]

EXT4-fs (sdb2): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null). Quota mode: none.
But i can't see it anymore.
I see that following errors in log as well

xfs: Unknown parameter 'subvol'                                                                     
fuseblk: Unknown parameter 'subvol'  How to solve that problem?

You can mount them in the Setup, then they should also mount on boot up.

Thanks for replying.
If i mount it in the setup it will look as follows

Code: [Select]

ext4 filesystem found on /dev/sdb2
Mounting to /mnt/sdb2
But when auto mount was working

Code: [Select]

/dev/sdb1 will be mounted on /media/usb-sdb1

Code: [Select]

/dev/sdb2 will be mounted on /media/usb-sdb2
And so on.

Is there anyway to enable auto mount on boot again?

Please disregard /media/usb-sdb1 thing
My fstab was modified
So, what the setup do is adding the following line to fstab for automount
/dev/sdb2   /mnt/sdb2       ext4    defaults         0 0
My question is why it was working without adding that line?

Problem is solved,
I found this rule 00-no-auto-mount.rules in /etc/udev/rules.d
I deleted it then USB sticks are auto mounted on boot
I don't know who put it in there

I also do not remember the reason for this rule and also not if it is a rule of mine or if it's some think we copy from the Debian system.

Hi Claus,
Do you have that rule on your system too?
If yes then please delete it.
Otherwise, it's probably me who installed a debian package which contains that rule.
Because i have other rules on my system which doesn't come in MLD.
For ex. i have Virtualbox rule.

I have take a look on our packages. We do not deliver that file. So I think it's not a problem of the MLD.

Then it was included in some debian package i had repacked and installed on my MLD system.
I can't remember which package either, i thought it was included in virtualbox package but after checking it wasn't.
At least the problem was solved.
