Schon etwas besser.
Nachdem ich die bestehende xorg.conf gelöscht habe wird aber in /etc/x11 keine neue xorg.conf erstellt
Ein stop start xorg aus dem Webinterface bringt auch ncihts

Ich sehe kurz ein OSD. Das wars dann aber auch

ne xorg.conf kannst Du per "X -configure" erstellen.
Die fehlende /etc/ati/amdpcsdb.default habe ich zum xorg-ati Addon hinzugefügt.

ne, nicht bewusst. Sollte beim nvidia Treiber noch immer funktionieren. Kannst Du das denn noch von Hand (Komandozeile) einstellen?

Noch was zum Thema autodetect.
Wenn ich das devel ISO von gestern im verbose Mode starte bietet mir autodetect die Installation von xorg-nouveau an. Da ich aber eine Nvidia G210 habe, wäre xorg-nvidia die korrekte Wahl.
Ist das so gewollt?

Hi,

ist schon richtig der Vorschlag. Schließlich würde der Treiber ja auch gehen (wenn auch nicht so gut). Wenn Dir der nvidia Treiber nicht vorgeschlagen, ist der bereits installiert (bzw. mit auf CD), oder der passt nicht.
Ich beabsichtige das noch zu ändern, so dass die Frage nur kommt, wenn nicht bereits ein anderer passender Treiber installiert ist.
