Hi,
Yes, snapshots are created automatically whenever you update MLD system or install a new package.
Insert MLD sd card into your computer.
A new FAT32 USB drive will be shown, open it then edit cmdline file with a notepad and add snapshot=manage at the end of the line.

Best Regards

Hallo,

Hi,
As far as I know there is an automated snapshot called "auto snapshot before -y remove live"
I dunno if you had a working MLD system or it was crashed even before that point.
However, snapshots option is enabled by default in MLD.
Sorry, if it didn't work for you though.

Best Regards.

Hi,
If MLD was running for a few months then you should have snapshots created automatically.
Nevertheless, you said that you did a fresh install, if you installed MLD on the same SD card you had erased the whole system including old snapshots.

Hi,

Hi,
You could download/install an older unstable netinstall image then stick with unstable branch for now.

Edit:

.

Was meint ihr dazu?

Grüße

That's good, after you have a successful installation revert to unstable branch.

Best Regards.

I have an easier solution  ;)

Plug SD card into your pc
Open cmdline with a notepad and add snapshot=manage at the end of the line.

...and this was also the solution for me... :D

Very nice :)
Unfortunately, i can't test that solution myself because i have a bluetooth keyboard therefore i'm trying to be very careful before making any new update  :D

Hi,

Hi,
No problem ... in Webif go to Setup – Snapshots
Make sure that "Create on update" is enabled.
You can also create a new snapshot whenever you want just in case you face a similar situation so you know what you should do  ;)

Best Regards.
