Hi,

ich wollte heute mein System im Wohnzimmer, das mit 5.5 testing läuft, nach längerer Zeit wieder mal aktualisieren.
Wenn ich im WebIf auf "Pakete" - "Aktualisierungen" gehe, erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldungen.

Keine Aktualisierungen verfügbar.
Nicht nur, dass keine Aktualisierungen mehr angeboten werden, unter "Systeme Pakete" und "VDR Plugins" werden auch keine Pakete mehr angezeigt.
Es können also weder Pakete installiert noch deinstalliert werden.
Auch unter "System Information" werden die aktuell installierten Pakete nicht mehr angezeigt.
Ich werde das noch mal auf einem anderen System mit 5.5 testing ausprobieren.

Das gleiche Problem bei zwei weiteren Systemen mit 5.5 testing.
Hier habe ich mir sofort nach dem Start die System Information im WebIf angeschaut.
Auch hier werden keine installierten Pakete mehr angezeigt.
Danach unter Pakete die Fehlermeldungen, wie schon beschrieben.

Hat hat wohl jemand versehentlich als testing User Änderungen auf dem nightbuild Server vorgenommen. Dies hat dann zu ekligen Fehlern beim Build geführt,...
Morgen sollten die Pakete wieder passen.

Auch ein ein apt-get clean und danach apt-get update hilft nicht.

Ich habs gerage mal bei einem meiner Systeme im WebIf getestet.

Leider das gleich Problem, wie bei wayne.

Es ist zwar wieder ein Dist-Upgrade möglich und es scheint auch problemlos und ohne Konflikte zu funktionieren.
Aber es werden dabei jede Menge wichtiger Pakete wie xorg und xorg-intel entfernt.
Somit erscheint noch vor einem Reboot am TV nur noch die Konsole.
Da das Netzwerk noch funktioniert hat, konnte ich über das WebIF gleich per Snapshot auf den Stand vor dem Upgrade-Versuch zurrück.
Das System läuft jetzt wieder mit dem alten Stand.

Das System ist ein Asus N4020 MiniPc ohne DVB-Hw (Stadessen SatIP) aber das Paket dvb installiert und hatte noch einen Stand mit Kernel 5.12.8 und somit waren viele installierte Pakete vom Upgrade betroffen.

Ich hab aufgrund der Meldung von wayne selber mal testweise mein Produktiv System aktualisiert. Bei mir wurden keine Pakete entfernt. Daher kann ich das auf die Schnelle nicht genauer untersuchen.
Allerdings sieht es so aus, dass einige der Probleme durch die ungewollten manuellen Änderungen im Testing Build System herrühren. Deshalb habe ich für diese Nacht einen kompletten Rebuild des testing Systems aktiviert. Morgen Abend kann das Update also noch mal getestet werden.

Es gibt jetzt einen kompletten frischen testing Build. Ich hoffe, dass das update damit jetzt wieder funktioniert.

So richtig funktioniert es leider noch nicht.
Das Dist-Upgrade ausgelöst über das WebIF läuft nicht ganz durch.
