Format Umstellung Unterdrücken?

Bitte nicht schlagen. Es folgt eine DAU Frage.
Im Moment habe ich das problem das wenn ich auf bestimmte Sender z. B. hr3 umstelle das format ändert. Wie kann ich erreichen das es immer auf einem format bleibt? Ich benutze die budget version

Meine Frage ist etwas ungenau. Ich habe unter softdevice das format 16:9 eingestellt. Somit füllt das Bild den Fernseher aus. Wenn ich jetzt aber auf z.B. hr3 wechsle schrumpft das Bild und es erscheint im Hintergrund der voherige Kanal. Wie kann ich das ändern?

Verwendest Du auch softdevice-Vidix oder softdevice-dfb?

Ich hatte mir das budget iso runtergeladen und default installiert. Was wird default installiert? Nach weiteren versuchen habe ich beobachtet daß das Bild auf der einen Seite des Fernsehers aufhört und auf der anderen weitergeht

Hallo Seef,

im Budget Iso ist erstmal nur das Softdevice Addon ohne weitere Hardwareunterstützung enthalten.
Ich würde Dir empfehlen das Softdevice-Vidix Addon zusätzlich zu installieren.
Vidix beinhaltet die Hardware Beschleunigung für viele Grafikkarten.
Ob allerdings deine Nividia Karte auch funktioniert, wirst Du selber ausprobieren müssen.
Das Budget Iso beinhaltet nur das Softdevice Addon, um eine möglichst große Kompatibilität zu gewährleisten.
Richtig Spaß mach es aber erst mit dem Vidix oder DFB Addon. Das DFB Addon ist aber noch nicht ganz ausgereift.

Wenn Vidix läuft, können wir ja weitersehen.
Schau bitte auch mal in die Vidix Wiki Anleitung.

Ok habe auf vidix umgestellt. Ton und OSD ist da nur kein Fernsehbild. Wie ist eigentlich das Default root passwort?

root passwort ist root  ;)

Schau mal in die Logs ob die Nvidia erkannt wird oder ob Du was findest so ähnlich wie unsuitable videolayer oder driver

Bitte nur das Softdevice Addon und Softdevice-Vidix Addon installieren:

50_MLD-2.0.0_vdrapi-1.6.0_softdevice-0.5.0_39.tgz
50_MLD-2.0.0_vdrapi-1.6.0_softdevice-vidix-0.5.0_18.tgz

Das Softdevice-Base Addon brauchst für die Ausgabe per DFB Addon.
Das DFB (DirectFrameBuffer) Addon funktioniert zurzeit nur mit der Samsung SMT Box und ATI Radeon Karten.

Wenn die beiden obigen Addons installiert sind brauche ich nochmal die Logs.

Sollte Deine Grafikkarte nicht unterstützt sein, wirst Du folgende Fehlemeldung in der sysinit finden:

Für vidix muss die Auflösung bereits beim Systemstart eingestellt werden.

Falls du das noch nicht gemacht hast in /etc/mld/boot/grub/menu.lst
vga=0x318 (enspricht 1024x768)  hinzufügen :
kernel (hd0,0)/mld/boot/kernel vga=0x318....
