Tv Bild Wird Weiß + Absturz

Bei einem Freund von mir produziert die aktuelle MLD (vdr-1.7.22 + MLD-3.0.1_initramfs-1.18.5_330 + MLD-3.0.1_kernel-3.2.2.94_94) blöderweise gerne mal eine weißen Bildschirm + Absturz.
Sprich mitten im TV schauen sind Bild und Ton weg und alle schauen nur noch auf einen weißen Bildschirm.

Habt ihr eine Erklärung was da genau passiert? Ich habe dieses Verhalten bei mir zu Hause noch nie gesehen.

Trat das auch bei älteren MLD-Versionen auf, z.B. beim 3.0'er Kernel?

Ich bin mir zu 95 % sicher das das erst seit der Neuinstallation (kein Update) auf die 3.0.1 auftritt.
Ich habe zu Hause die gleiche Basishardware (Board, VGA Karte, CPU, RAM) und bei mir tritt der Fehler nicht auf

Die Deinstallation von Firefox und flash hat das Absturz Problem gelöst
