Is This Dvb-s2 Supported?
ops sorry about this.. in my country is legal and i'm in EU too...
I know how to build it in normal ubuntu system (for example) but don't know how to make it like addon for MLD
and for other one i check all vdr plugins and did't find rotor(the old one) or rotorng.. that's why I ask about it.

sorry again and thanks for replay

EDIT: google not translate very well :) after some research in MDL wiki i found post how to create addons...

@MarMic Hello, I made this part. I can build addons from svn. It's great but the problem is I want to build vdr addons that are not on svn.
I think i have success with one - rotorng. I use wirblescan like template. No error after compiling but still not tested. But the other one plugin for vdr(forbidden) i have problem with it, it's more complicated and i can't figure out how to make properly Makefile for it. I add deps:=openssl-dev openssl0.9.8
but the other part I dont have idea..
Can someone help me with this.. will be good on private if is problem for public discussion.

thanks

i ve added the rotong vdr-plugin to svn -> so the nightbuild server should build it tonight and upload it to the webserver (i can't try it) -> so please report everything!

p.s. dodger: there were no compiling errors with rotorng? i have had to patch the src for vdr >=1.7.23 -> greetz
p.s. @claus/christian, brauchen wir noch den rotor patch im extpatch? ich glaube nicht?

hello,
thanks MarMic I miss it after first checkout_all :)
About rotorng - yes still need this patch. I download rotorng, next i apply patch then i build it like addon .. to manually but i think its work.. need more tests..
but It can't scan properly there is no option for dvb-s2.. same think with wirbelscan and wirblecontrol. After manually scan 12051v 27500 from 23.5E can't detect nothing.. strange.
I'll check manual scan with w_scan.. btw it is some old build.. latest version is from 28.01.2012
After uploading rotorng I will test it and report :)

thanks
EDIT: latest w_scan source : http://wirbel.htpc-forum.de/w_scan/w_scan-...0120128.tar.bz2

@MarMic .. can you check why I cant send private messages?? Do I need some rights to do this..
When i type message and press send (or save and send later) is nothing happen..
I using Chromium on ubuntu 11.10(I dont have other browsers)

thanks
EDIT: About rotorng plugin when is installed it must provide 1 file more.. in src there is example folder. The file is rotorng.conf
its provide stored satellite position. File must bi in /etc/vdr/plugins dir. If i have for example stored position 3 for 23.5E i the file must be like this 'S23.5E 3'
syntax for satellite is like in sources.conf

Is This Dvb-s2 Supported?
yep my file is there and I can see stored positions on rotorng plugin and i can rotate dish from there
BUT i have 2 little problems:
1. i have this error in messages log:
Quote
Mar 26 11:29:18 (none) user.err vdr: [5485] ERROR (tools.c,1546): (null)/rotorng-default.theme.$$$: No such file or directory
plugin use default vdr skin ..don't know what is this error

2. biggest problem is the plugin cant rotate automaticly(or can't look )
the main use of this plugin is: when you have channels.conf list with channels on diferent satellite when you pickup some chanels, plugin check from what satellite is this channel and rotate dish auto (its like STB)
Ill check how to fix this...
