aktuelle MLD mit yausbir?

Hallo zusammen,
ich möchte meinen alten VDR wieder reaktivieren und habe mich nach interessanten Distries umgesehen und bin bei MLD hängengeblieben.
Leider scheitere ich schon an der Fernbedienung...
Ich habe ein yausbir mit einer Logitech und KLS 1.6 Profil betrieben. Was müsste ich denn bei der aktuellen MLD im Webfrontend auswählen damit die Sache wieder funktioniert.
Bei meiner Suche hier bin ich nur auf das Profil von Claus Muus gestoßen. Er scheint den gleichen Empfänger zu haben.
Bitte habe ein wenig Geduld mit mir, die letzte Installation von VDR ist doch schon ein wenig her... :-)

Hallo Christian,

Willkommen bei der MLD. Ich habe von der Konfiguration des Empfängers keine Ahnung, habe aber gesehen, dass es dafür das Paket "lirc-yausbir" gibt. Hast du das schon installiert? Hilfreich ist immer, wenn du ein Debug-Log beifügst, dann können wir schauen, was du alles installiert hast und was in den Logs steht. Ein Debug-Log kannst du im WebIf unter System/Konfiguration/Logfiles/Debug Logs erstellen bzw. hochladen.

ja das Paket habe ich installiert, aber in der Auswahlliste ändert sich nichts. Was muss ich denn dann nach der Installation des Paketes im Webfront eintragen?

Hi,

der yausbir Empfänger kann Probleme mit langen Kabeln haben. Wenn also die Empfänger Diode, so wie bei mir, an einem 5m Kabel hängt, kann es zu Störungen kommen. In dem Fall funktioniert das lirc-yausbir Paket besser als der lirc Kernel Treiber. Das lirc-yausbir hat aber den Nachteil, dass hierfür eine andere Konfiguration benötigt wird (und die Sender Diode nicht genutzt werden kann). Ein paar Konfigurations-Beispiele sind in der Datei /etc/yausbir.conf zu finden. Wie diese erstellt wird weiß ich nicht mehr, da müsstest Du ein wenig im Netz (oder VDR-Portal) suchen.
Das lirc Kernelmodul gibt es bei der MLD derzeit allerdings sowieso nicht, weshalb Du gar keine Wahl hast was Du benutzt.

Es wäre Nett wenn Du Deine Erkenntnisse hier oder im Wiki posten würdest, damit wir die auch für andere User zugänglich machen können.

Hallo,

yausbir lief seit mindestens 2 Jahren bei yavdr völlig problemlos.
Verstehe ich das richtig, das ich die Konfiguration über Webfrontend komplett lasse und die yausbir.conf selbst erstellen muss?
Dann versuch ich mich mal daran.

Ja, Du musst lediglich die yausbir.conf anpassen. Unter yavdr kann die auch anders heißen. Du kannst aber deine aus der yavdr übernehmen, sofern Du dort auch das lirc-yausbir Python Script verwendet hast.

Ist das die richtige Vorgehensweise ?
Im Webfrontend kann ich das Paket yausbir auswählen, was aber mit Installfehler endet (5.1 testing)

Magst Du jetzt noch mal testen, also zuerst upgraden und erst danach lirc-yausbir installieren. Eventuell musst Du zuerst auch ein "apt-get -f install" aufrufen.
Ich kann den Fehler leider nicht nachstellen, da der so wie ich das sehe aus Deine bisher bestehenden Paket Konstellation her rührt.

Jetzt hat es geklappt.

Unter Konfiguration, Fernbedienung, Lirc Treiber wird yausbir aber nicht gelistet - oder wo stelle ich das weiter ein ?

Nein, der Rest lässt sich bisher nicht über das Webif konfigurieren. Du musst den Rest in der /etc/yausbir.conf einstellen.

Moin,

dann läuft yausbir quasi parallel zur einem Com1 Lirc ?

Muss die yausbir.conf bzw. adäquate aus dem yavdr Backup hersuchen...

Meine Versuche die yausbir.conf selbst zu editieren, nach dem lirc.conf Muster sind gescheitert.
