That is a similar idea but using USB 3.0 port on Raspberry Pi 4 not the Rock Pi 4 M.2 interface.



Which PCIe-USB adapter you're using with the DVB card?
Is it really a USB-3.0 interface? Not only a USB-cable?

besteht die Möglichkeit, für 5.5 den "Rock Pi 4" mit ins Portfolio aufzunehmen?

Hier wird ja u.a. auch für den Rock Pi 4 (Rockchip RK3399) am Ausgabeplugin softhddevice-drm entwickelt.

softhddevice-drm soll mit Allwinner, Rockchip und den RPI laufen...

Es reicht nicht, das es ein Ausgabe Device gibt. Das schwierigste dürfte sein, das Board zu booten, denn jedes ARM Bord macht das anders. Von daher wird die MLD das wohl nicht unterstützen.

Ja, nur das u-boot individuell für jede Hardware konfiguriert werden muss. Hinzu kommt, das u-boot auch noch zum Kernel und zur verwendeten Hardware passen muss. Genau das ist bei der Wetek und beim BananaPi das Problem. Deshalb hatten wir auch so große Probleme den BPI Kernel zu aktualisieren und das schließlich aufgegeben. Und beim BPI gab es reichlich Doku zur u-boot Konfiguration.
