Hallo,

nach dem Upgrade auf 5.5 Testing (Grund, siehe https://minidvblinux.de/forum/index.php/topic,10269.msg81607.html#msg81607), startet Kodi nicht mehr.

Erster Fehler: /usr/bin/runkodi: eval: line 1: /usr/bin/kodi: not found
Lösung: symlink unter /usr/bin/kodi löschen und auf den neuen Speicherort zeigen lassen: "ln -s /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/kodi/kodi.bin kodi"

Jetzt startet kodi immer noch nicht:

The package is in the unstable tree available. And it should be also in testing tomorrow.

So we will stay on testing and wait whats happening at the weekend.

By the way, i build kodi-gbm v19 with HEVC hardware decode yesterday however i'm getting the same error as mldnonexpert.

I have repacked/installed Kodi v19 debian buster-backports package in order to see if it works but i'm disappointed after using it as it doesn't support hardware acceleration.
Claus, does kodi v19 package which you are going to upload support hardware acceleration?

I don't know, but you can have a look in the kodi-stable Makefile to see the config options.

könntet ihr bitte auch für 5.5 testing die 19.3 Version zur  Verfügung stellen ?
Ich hatte von unstable mit Kodi 19.3 auf testing mit Kodi 18.8 umgestellt. (Wegen hyperion.ng)
Jetzt sind die plugins von Kodi nicht mehr kompatibel.
Die 19.3 lief bei mir sehr stabil.

sorry habs selbst gelöst.
Kodi-stable nochmal deinstalliert und dann neu installiert.

Jetzt läuft Kodi 19.3 Matrix auf 5.5. tsting.
